The new mouse icons in 10.7.3 can be blown up to a much higher resolution. John Gruber noted the change after spotting a tweet from developer Matt Gemmell.

It’s worth noting that Apple could have just gotten around to updating the icon resolutions for clean scaling with Lion’s Universal Access feature. Those with poor eyesight will benefit from having a mouse pointer that can remain at full resolution when zoomed in on fully.
